Examples of courses provided by us are as below:
HSE Approved First Aid at Work (3-day):
The course covers the full remit of first aid including resuscitation, management of unconsciousness and management of wounds and bleeding along with fractures, burns and scalds and eye injuries, plus major/minor illnesses. The course is in accordance with the HSE First Aid Regulations 1981. Certificate valid for 3 years.
HSE Approved First Aid at Work Refresher (2-day):
This course is designed to renew a current FAW certificate and covers resuscitation, management of unconsciousness and management of wounds and bleeding along with fractures and lots more. The course is in accordance with the HSE First Aid Regulations 1981. Certificate is valid for 3 years.
Emergency First Aid at Work:
This is a basic first aid course is designed to provide basic knowledge and skills in first aid. The course covers resuscitation, unconsciousness and management of wounds and bleeding, minor injuries, seizures. Certificate is valid for 3 years.
Life Saving First Aid (4-hours):
This course covers the essentials of first aid, resuscitation, unconsciousness and management of wounds and bleeding. Certificate is valid for 3 years.
Annual First Aid Update (1/2 - day):
This course is designed to update the skills of resuscitation, management of unconsciousness and blood loss. It is recommended as an annual course
First Aid for Child Carers (2-days):
This course is aimed at people involved in the care of pre-school/nursery children and follows the Ofstead syllabus. Certificate valid for 3 years.
Automated External Defibrillator (4-hours):
This course trains delegates in the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator. The course adheres to the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2005. Certificate is valid for 1 year.
Medical Gases (1-day):
This course is deigned to train first aiders in the safe administration of oxygen and analgesic gas (entonox). It includes the use of bag mask valve or pocket mask resuscitation depending on client requirements. Certificate is valid for 1 year.
Emergency Medical Care Provider:
This course is designed to expand the knowledge & skills of first aiders, covering, enhanced resuscitation techniques, AED, fracture management, medical & trauma casualty management. This course is certified by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Certificate valid for 2 years with annual AED/Medical gases refresher.
Emergency Procedures within Occupational Health (4-hours):
Designed for healthcare professionals to ensure they have skills in resuscitation, AED, medical gases & anaphylaxis management.
Fire Safety Training
Basic Fire Safety Awareness (2-hours):
This course is designed to equip all employees with a basic understanding of the safety responsibilities in relation to fire prevention and the actions in the event of a fire occurring.
Fire Safety (3-hours):
This course is designed to equip all employees with a basic understanding of the safety responsibilities in relation to fire prevention and the actions in the event of a fire occurring. The course also enables delegates to experience of operating a fire extinguisher.
Fire Marshal/Warden (4-hours):
Trains delegates in the knowledge & skills required to act as a Fire Marshal in workplace. Course covers fire safety & prevention & the procedures to take in the event of a fire. Certificate is valid for 1 year.
