The ETK is a multi test pack designed for single location testing where there are numerous tests required, i.e. a Vehicle search point or in a venue during searches

The novel portable 'micro-laboratory', ETK five, with its sensitive, simple, rapid, precise and reliable operation, revolutionizes the field task of police and other security agenciesin the detection and identification of explosives. 

ETK five is an upgraded improved version of our original ETK. ETK five was expanded to detect an additional class of explosives which is based on chlorate salts. Objectives.

Detection
ETK five enables simple, rapid end reliable detection of persons engaged in preparing, handling or carrying explosive charges, and allows for fast screening. The kit aids in detection, through exposure and proof of contact contamination of various surfaces, by explosives.

Identification 
The ETK five distinguishes between explosives and non-explosive materials. Furthermore, the kit is capable of identifying four classes comprising the majority of explosives currently in use, and revealing their traces on the body and various items such as clothes, suitcases, door handles and car surfaces.

Range of identification 
The ETK five is capable of identifying the full range of well known types of military and comercially available explosives, and also of homemade explosives based on nitate and chlorate salts.

Test sensitivities

• Group A: TNT, Tetryl, TNB, Picric acid and its salts = 0.1 - 1 micro gram.
• Group B: Dynamite, RDX, PETN, Nicrocellulose Smokeless Powder and   plastic explosives such as C4 and SEMTEX = 0.01 - 1 micro gram.
• Group C: Nitrate Salts = 0.1 micro gram.
• Group D: Chlorates = 10 micro gram.
• Group E: TATP = 10 micro gram.

No false alarmsThere are no known false alarms, with the rare exception of some nitro-cellulose-based paints while they are fresh. In such instances, further investigation will clarify and remove any doubtful results.

Rapid Results 
The tests takes a few seconds, from the time of sampling until final results are obtained, enabling quick screening of large numbers of suspects.

Dual layer labels which leave a complete tamper evident layer on the surface, ideal for packaging & envelopes where high security applications are required.

No residue versions where it is important to be able to remove them with no damage or visible sign of their use yet they still, effectively, indicate if they have been tampered with by disrupting internally and showing ‘Opened’. when compromised

A high security no residue label with a clear coating and heat sensitive ink where sophisticated attempts to defeat them are anticipated.

A clear dual layer version allows for a more covert security monitoring. They fluoresce blue under UV light for identification. On removal an ‘Opened’ message is visible under the UV light, both on the application surface and the label.

X-Ray Equipment: Portable & Hand Held Systems

X-ray detection is a vital component in the security armoury and we provide a range of bespoke systems to suit a wide range of circumstances.

There are portable systems for use by first/ advanced responders to incidents where there is a need to examine items in place.

There is a specially constructed, self contained unit which allows for safe screening of bags and packages in high pedestrian traffic areas, such as stations and foyers.

These are also portable and can be moved with relative ease to deploy where the greatest need arises. X-ray permits the checking of sealed items such as fire extinguishers, when carrying out defensive venue searches.

X-Ray Baggage Scanning Equipment

Baggage scanners are a fully integrated, stand alone, 2 & 3D x-ray inspection system specifically for Palace and important building security as well as for Airport use.

Incorporating a number of unique technological features,

It provides unparalleled imaging capability making it “best in class” in terms of image quality. It is offered in both conventional 2D and 3D configurations.

The system has been endorsed by the US Government’s prestigious Transport Security Administration (TSA) as providing “Significant” improvements in overall security when compared to conventional two dimensional x-ray baggage inspection systems.

The TSA demonstrated, over a prolonged trial held at San Francisco airport, that there was a  real improvement in the probability of threat detection when the bags were viewed with 3DX-Ray’s 3D system.  In fact, the system easily demonstrated a boosting of the probability of detection rates by around 10%.

DEXA

Employing novel dual-energy x-ray analysis (DEXA) detector technology developed by 3DX-Ray Ltd for the x-ray screening security sector, it is possible to differentiate between organic and inorganic materials such as between wood and metals; meat and bone; glass and fluids, etc.

X-Ray Vehicle Scanning Systems

There are also systems which allow for the screening of vehicles and containers,for example, at remote vehicle search points, ports, major events

SVXi (Small Vehicle Inspection system) is a fully mobile x-ray system, that produces a detailed x-ray image of an entire vehicle up to the size of a transit van. It takes just a few seconds and produces ultra-high sub mm resolution! yet it can simply be driven to a site, used and moved on.

It is ideal for detecting theorist threats such as bombs, guns and knives. It even offers a dual energy option for differentiating between materials such as the chemically organic substances used in Plastic Explosives and the metals used in guns, knives and other weapons.

SVXi offers several substantial advantages over fixed installations. A fixed installation, at a port for example, is relatively simple for smugglers or terrorists to avoid by travelling via another port. With SVXi’s mobility, this problem is eliminates as they simply can’t tell where it will be. Additionally, it can be deployed at temporary sites, roadsides, events, ceremonies and venues as the need arises. When the event is over it can simply be driven away.

3DX-Ray won the contract (under a multiple tender process) to develop the imaging system of the SVXi with UK Government (Home Office Scientific Development Branch).

Blast Mitigation

This course is deigned to train first aiders in the safe administration of oxygen and analgesic gas (entonox). It includes the use of bag mask valve or pocket mask resuscitation depending on client requirements. Certificate is valid for 1 year.

This course is designed to expand the knowledge & skills of first aiders, covering, enhanced resuscitation techniques, AED, fracture management, medical & trauma casualty management. Weapon Security

Firearms Security - Quick Lock

Our locking systems offer the best solution for preventing misuse / unauthorised use of a weapon.

With a mechanical weapon lock, you can lock your gun in seconds flat. All you need to do is insert a locking device in the muzzle on a hand gun or in the cartridge chamber of a long gun and lock it.

Releasing the lock requires authentication via a personal PIN code or biometric fingerprint, which gives you access as the sole authorised user. Additionally there are facilities for access also by an authorised armourer

The perfect safety application

The locking element covers a wide range of calibres.

The great benefit is that the weapon is totally disabled ensuring maximum safety whilst weapons are not in use, and especially whilst in transit.

The owner can be assured that even despite rigorous security when in transit, the weapon is still live and a risk if it fell in to the wrong hands. With the locking element in place, even if stolen, the weapon is useless and in all likelihood, any attempt to remove it would more than likely destroy the gun.
